Sometimes I feel like I don't have any topic to blog about. When I'm not blogging, I thought of a topic and then forget about it when I am about to blog. So now I will just blog about my travel history.

1996 - Family went to Medan then Australia then Bali. All by tour. I don't remember much because I was only 7. I only remembered my dad rented a car in Australia and we few kangaroos and touched kola and also went to under water world.

Bali

1997 - Me, my sis n mum went to China, Shenzhen by tour then Hong Kong. It wasn't very cold in China or Hong Kong. I think it's during autumn. I also don't remember much. In China, we went to miniature world. Got like Leaning Tower of Pisa, Mount Rushmore, The Pyramid and much more. It's called Shenzen window of the world. I also remembered my mum bought peaches in Hong Kong and it look so nice and didn't even get to eat it because the airport don't allow us to carry it.

1998 - Me, my sis n mum went to Thailand. I think my family went to Phuket and Bangkok by tour. I remember watching 'Aqua Show' which is a show where transexual perform (man change to women. It's acceptable there). The women were very pretty and that is when I learnt about breast implants. I asked my mum. At Phuket, there were people who are strapped to the speed boat and they are on this plying thing. When the speed boat moves, they will fly.

1999 - Didn't travel overseas. So sad. Me, my sis n mum went to Penang for 10 days with my mum, sis and friend. We stayed in my uncle's house.

2000 - I think my family went to Thailand by train. I remembered being at KL Sentral but don't know why we were there. I think my family took train to Thailand twice. This must be the second time.

2001 - Didn't go overseas because my mum was scared because of 9/11.

2002 - Family went to Korea by tour. 1st time experiencing winter but no snow. Went skiing too. Was very cold because only wore winter jacket but no sweater. Haha. Food there is very not Malaysian taste and very hard to eat. Korean food in Malaysia is nothing like in Korea ok. People here can say Korean food is ok wat, but the real Korean food is damn different. Things there are very expensive too and no1 speaks English.

If you're wondering, my hair is so big because I haven't start doing rebonding and don't comment!!

2003 - Went to China by tour, the tour package says Shanghai. Shanghai is the main attraction. Went with family and family friend's family. Shanghai is so damn different than other places in China. It's so high class. The hotel room heater actually works because it us a reputable state in China. Shanghai is really cold because it is near the sea. Taxi drivers in Shanghai wear vest and tie.

2004 - My family went to China by tour again. Those of you better not complain so much about Malaysia. In China, all the jobs that Malaysians don't want to work as that are taken by foreign workers, are taken by the Chinese in China. Waitress here is so a part time job but in China, it's a job for mothers, not young ladies or young men after school. Transit in Macau. In this tour, got 2 touist nuns also. They travel together with the group but not go visit temple and stay in temple.

2005 - Family went to Ho Chih Minh, South Vietnam during 1 of the school breaks, not December break. Weather there is hot but not as hot as KL. Shopping there is nice and the food there also nice. They even have wan tan mee. There can shop for lecquer painting and some purse stuff. Very cheap. 1 purse can cost US$1.

2006 - Didn't go anywhere for holiday because the next year going 2 places.

2007 (Jan) - Family went to China in January with my family. Not by tour. Finally. With family friends as well. Went Gongzhou shopping but it was all winter wear. Dim Sum originate from Gongzhow, China not Hong Kong. People there speak Cantonese, at least easier to understand that pure China chinese. Went on 3 day tour in China with China poeple. Poeple there are so rude and I serisouly don't know how KL can be the rudest city in the world. Then went to visit my grandmother's relatives in the province. Not a very nice experience la. Don't want talk about it. My dad didn't go province because he needs to leave early because of work and take care of the dogs. After province, stayed a night in Macau because Air Asia only fly to Macau that time. Macau perfumes so cheap. Sold in Sasa and Watsons summore.

2007 (Mar) - Family went to Hanoi, North Vietnam. So nice. We stayed in Old Quarters and walk walk walk there. It's a tourist area la. Bought same kind of things. We stayed 1 night in the junk (Vietnamese ship) which is so not worth. Let me tell you, just take a day tour because there was no water to bathe of brush teeth. The model ship there damn cheap. The tiny size only US$1 and the big ones, like half my body tall is like US$10.

2008 - Dad no more working so never go anywhere.

2009 - Went to Pulau Perhentian with Sarah. Only I went la. Snorkeling the whole time and I don't have underwater casing so not much pics. Only 3 days trip la, join MMU Melaka trip. It's organized by a club and they join a tour group. Very good la, they provide each of us a few bottles of mineral water and food and accommodation. Took like 9 hours in the bus from Melaka to Terengganu. There can wear bikini. The whole trip only cost RM350. Me, my sis n my mum drove to Melaka for day trip then drop me off for the Perhentian trip. After the trip, stayed at friend's place in Melaka a night then next day my dad came and pick me up to go home.

2010 (May) - I went to Kota Kinabalu with Sarah and Adrian. 1st time in East Malaysia. I was in KK airport once when transit from Korea to Malaysia so not really counted la, since only stayed in the airport. We booked the RM0 air fare. We only paid a total of RM12 airport tax. Stayed at backpackers place. So nice that place. No tv in the room which is a good thing because don't feel so confined in the room and I'm ok with common toilet because it's clean and hostel only have common toilet. Stayed there for 5 days. Way toooooo long. So boring there, can walk everywhere or take bus, which is only a short distance. Things there more expensive than Peninsular Malaysia. Since we were so bored, we went to watch movie and go shopping. Seafood there ok la. Didn't eat full blast la (no money to eat that much).

So that is my travel story. From the pics above, you can tell some of the pics are from so long ago, mainly by the fashion. hahah. The fashion last time is really not nice. You also can see how much the fashion has changed and how advanced cameras are nowdays.

Bought new swimsuit!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally bought new swimsuit from ebay. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It cost RM70. It's from USA and it's shipped here. The bikini alone cost US $12.99 and the shipping is US $8.64. In total I paid RM70.84. My sis obviously helped me to buy it because I keep on forgetting to get a debit card. This is the swimsuit I bought.

Close- ups and short Trip to I-City, Shah Alam

This afternoon I was bored so I took pictures of my loofah and lip balm close-up.

Tonight, me, my sis and my dad went to I-City to take pictures. It's a place with alot of artificial trees with alot of lights. They had many LED sculptures and deco at the buildings. It's like a park and there's alot of security guards blowing whistle. It gets annoying sometimes. They do that so that people do not sit on the slope and stuff. They just don't want to be responsible for any electrocution. The entrance fees is only RM5 per car. The crowd there was surprisingly good for a weekday. We left at around 9.30pm and there were so many cars queuing up to get in.

Me and my sis are not very good with night shots so most of the pictures taken not so nice la. We never really practice taking pictures at night. We also don't have remote control for the camera so we use timer to take photo so that the camera does not shake when we snap a picture. I don't want to upload pics here because my house internet so slow and it takes forever to view them. You can look it up in my webshots.

Sunway Lagoon

I went Sunway Lagoon yesterday (Monday). The ticket price increased so much. Last time I went, 8 years ago, the ticket only cost like RM30-RM40 only. My mum told me wetland ticket only RM15. Now it's RM60 for 3 parks and RM75 for all 5 parks. That extra RM15 people will think so worth but that scream park is nothing much. It's not even a park. It's just 1 ghost house. We also have to pay extra RM10 for the wristband (which looks like a watch) deposit.

Sunway Lagoon ticketing counter so damn inefficient. So slow you know. I thought it was because some people take so long to decide or ask so many questions, but it's the ticketing counter. The staff want to issue ticket also so slow. The worst part is that they ask us to don't queue up 1 person 1 person. The staff ask us to 1 person buy for all our friends. OMG so inefficient. I bet they have no return customers. No wonder price increase also la.

I can advise people to keep their bags in the locker 1st in the wetland. Not at the dryland because the bathroom is only in the wetland. It's also much more convenient because most rides don't allow people to carry bags and no1 takes care of their belongings. If you put your bags in wetland, you will start at dry land and end in wetland and can terus go shower.

I went Sunway Lagoon with Adrian and some of his friends la. We 1st went to scream park. Just a ghost house la. After that we took some rides. Since me and 1 of Adrian's friend only wore bikini at that time, we can't take some rides because we must wear t-shirt. Makes sense la, the ermmmm, belt thing that u wear on your shoulder so that you won't fall off the ride must have hurt if take the ride and never wear shirt. The others went on that ride. That ride goes 360 degrees. Look so scaryyyyyyy, you will be hanging upside down. OMG 0_0

After that we went to extreme park. Must register for all the rides, I dunno y. Got paintball target shooting, archery (me and Adrian didn't took it) , scenic ride thing (me and Adrian didn't took it), wall climbing (no energy to climb) and flying fox. Me and Adrian didn't took those things because we want to save time so can go flying fox but ended up the flying fox so ineffecient. Must wait like 30 mins. I dunno y so inefficient. After that also we waited for Adrian's friends for so long because they took flying fox later than us and the flying fox so damn inefficeint.

Finally we went to the wetland. The surf beach was closed for MTV world stage. They really drain out the pool dry dry. The flying fox goes over the surf beach. At the wetland we so tired d and not much mood d because waited damn long at the flying fox. We wanted to go kayaking but too tired.

At the wetland we only just sat in the wave pool to relax. So happy I finally know how to swim but I don't like wave pool because so wavy and water can go inside my nose. There's no drain at the side like normal swimming pool so the wave will forever be in the pool.

After celup in the pool, we went to change but never shower. Then we went to pyramid for dinner. We all went to TGIF. My food not nice 1. I took the 2 course meal set. Appetizer and main course. Appetizer was boneless chicken wings. So x sedap. The sauce was sour and it's not the tasty sour and it's served with sour cream. Then my main course was TGIF cheeseburger. I thought they use steak like in Tony Roma's but they actually use burger patty. The worst part is that it tastes exactly like McD's double cheese burger. OMG!! I paid so much for that. I ended up so tired until cannot eat so I tapau. After that we all went home. So tired.

It was all fun even though I have so much complains. It's fun because get to spend time with Adrian and have fun there. My conplains are not those frustrated complains la. I really think Sunway should be much more efficient since they practically double their ticket price.

Dori's birthday!!!

Today, I went to Dori's house to celebrate her very belated birthday. Her birthday was on May. When me n my sis arrived, her family were about to start the prayers. I didn't know birthdays also got prayers. They sang songs and Dori read the bible and had some prayers.

After that, cut cake. Dori's cake so cute, got her picture there. So sayang to eat. I wonder who will be eating her face. She only cut the cake at the side then her family and some relatives fed her cake. They took a small piece and feed her. I thought they will cut cake after eating like Chinese family.

After that, makan time. Emma, Kaysha, GI and Joanne came after prayers. The food was good Dori's mum cooked mutton curry and sambal prawns. Other food they cater. They had rice (not white rice la), capati, puttu mayam, roti jala, dahl, kurma, chicken, pickle, eggplant. For dessert, they had watermelon, honeydew and ais kacang.

Alot of Dori's relatives were there. Alot of babies. So cute. After eating, me, my sis, Emma, Kaysha, GI and Joanne sat down and talked. Dori very busy layan her guests. I asked her where was her dogs, they are all kept at the back of their hse and they were given calming pills. I didn't know such thing exists. The dogs are fed that so that they don't disturb people.

After that, we left. Some of her relatives left early. I thought I left early already but good la, don't overstay. The food was so nice. Now I'm so full I can't shower yet.

Saree

Just now, I decided to wear my saree. It took so damn long, I dunno how long but more than 30 mins. I had 1 failed attempt. So I had to wear it again. My saree top was sooooo tight. This is my best shot using my DSLR. I'm not good with taking night pics and it's very blur.

The pic below was taken last year in my previous hostel room, I was just trying out my saree with some help from Dori. I had short hair that time and I think I look better with long hair. Now i want back my very long hair like last time. I cut my hair short just to try a new look. hehe :)

Now you would think what is the purpose I bought the saree for, I bought it for International Student Society Night (ISS Night). It was More than 1 year ago. Here is the link. At that time, I don't have a camera and so many people took photo with me but I never get any of those photos because they were all strangers taking photo. All the pictures were so blur. It was so fun. I regret never attend CCIP Dinner last year.

Wearing contact lens and swim

Today, I went to swim with my contact lens. It was fine, surprisingly. I wore it in the day and it didn't feel like coming out. The previous time I wore contact lens and swim, the contact lens felt like coming out. I wore it for swim club at night. So in conclusion, it's ok to wear contact lens to swim and I saved like RM50

After makeover

After makeover, I went swimming. I don't want to walk to swimming pool because so damn hot and also Adrian coming by car so he can pick me up on the way to swimming pool. He always take so damn long when it comes to swimming. But when it's time to go out like shopping or go eat, fast. While waiting, so many people pass by at zebra and so many people look. So kepo. I also met Hema and I told her there was makeover, she said "no wonder so many girls with makeup and look so doll-like". Finally he arrived. Then we went to swim. My sis and Ana also came but they left the swimming pool so early because they said too many people. I thought I left early but they left earlier and came later than me.

After swimming, we all went to the central foodcourt opposite the swimming pool to have our dinner. Their fried rice is nice (from chinese stall). After that, we went to Alamanda because my sis and Ana wants to buy nail polish while I want to buy powered goggles and Adrian want to pay his phone bill.

I ended up never buy the powered goggles because I don't want to spend so much money. I think I just wear contact lens and goggles to cut cost. My whole swimming attire is blue and the powered goggles is black. The goggles at Parkson Alamanda is RM59.90 with some discount. Adrian bought last time, it was like RM53.

I want the powered goggles because at night, for swim club swimming lessons, it's very hard to see. Daytime is ok, but night time is so hard to see. I can barely see anything.Thats why last sem during coco, I never wore contact lens before and it's ok because it's daytime.

In the end, I bougt some lingerie (it sounds nice but the ones i bought doesn't look as nice as it sounds because I bought some very comfy ones). I also bought a cleanser which is Bio-Essence deep cleanser with pine pollen (blue packaging) for RM16.60. My sis used this before and it's good because it doesn't tighten up my skin on the 1st try (the packing says it doesn't tighten up the skin).

I'm using almost the same one but without pine pollen. My current cleanser is not bad. At 1st when I use, it tighten my skin (eventhough the label says it doesn't tighten the skin) but after a while, it didn't because my sis ask me to use less. Now it's like rosak already because it has a weird smell but i want to finish it up 1st. I bought this current cleanser for less than Rm20.

Clinique Makeover!!!!

Today, in campus while walking at Central Plaza, my sis friend, Chris (a girl) was working as promoter to give samples for Clinique. She saw me and called me Agnes. Haih. I thought i heard wrong but it actually is true because I reconfirm with Dori. After we took the sample, Nabila also there, we went to class.

Only I went to class because there wasn't anymore seats. So Dori, Emma, Kaysha and Nabila went to find chairs but ended up no chairs so they just skipped class like that. Then I went to toilet and met them and they skipping class to follow Nabila go makeover. I don't know why Dori doesn't want to go for makeover. I didn't even sign attendance. I dunno why people in taxation class os mengada, they always hold the attendance sheet and never pass around. In both tutorial and lecture. After class I walked to Misri Plaza to go for makeover.

At Misri Plaza, they not very efficeint lo. They give us numbers to queue up but never call us. I entered the contest for Cleo cover girl la. It's FOC la. Just join la.

We have to just go up to the lorry. At the lorry there, 1 man came and makeup for me. He do eye make up so nice. Do so many things la. Put this put that. My eyes were tearing because I not used to it. Haih. Tear (from eye) so many times. He spent most of the time doing my eyes. I was wearing yellow top and he put blue eye makeup. I let him choose but I dunno why he must use blue. So no matching. He also did my lips. So nice la. I think he did use lipliner. My lips look so oooo after applying and of course it did not last for long la. But it looks so nice, my ooo lips.

After makeover, did hair. My hair nothing much to do la. Just straighten it a little then make the ends curl in. Very nice. After hair, take photo. The photographer ask me pose so weird. I sometimes so blur. He ask me stand here, like so close to him only. But later on watever la. Just take photo la. He made me pose so old fashion. Put my hand at my face. eeeee. I did 1 pose never smile. If want to use thumbdrive to take softcopy, must pay RM15 if they burn into CD, pay RM20. So unreasonable and so money making for them.

After take photo, choose photos. Only got 6 la. 1st, choose 1 of the 3 then repeat. After that, choose 1. The guy who ask me to choose also got say 1 of the pic is nice and i memang want that pic. While waiting for the pic to be printed, I asked the photographer what is the battery grip is for. He told me so that when take portrait photo, easier to grip because got another button and the guy who's managing the photos told me nikon can store only 1 battery but cannon can store 2. Then I took my photo and left.

After that, I went to the booth next to it and collect my goodie bag. Of course, at that place, they also promote their stuff. But I of course don't want to buy la eventhough got free pouch. I don't need the pouch also because it will create alot of unused things in my room. Then I walked back to hostel and so many people saw me.

In my room, me, Dori, Nabila and my sis (Agnes) were looking at pics of girls from other Clinique Star Search locations. The link is this. The name I used is Leong Yie-Bing and I'm quite easy to spot. I'm wearing yellow. After that, I camwhore alot with my webcam. This is the week I don't have my DSLR with me because it's in service. Among all times. I should have brought 1 digital camera to campus. After camwhoring went swimming. These are my camwhoring photos from my webcam.

Cameras

On Wednesday, my dad took the DSLR for some company thing but ended up never use also. But at least on Friday he went to send it for service. I don't know what happen to the lens. The body is ok. The lens jam. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes it jam. What happens is the focus cannot turn fully or the zoom cannot turn fully. But it's now is service and take back the camera in 1 week time.

I used the digital camera to take pictures just now. It's not bad this digital camera which my mum bought. It's pink!! And it's touch screen!!! At 1st i thought it was bad because the picture taken that's shown on the disply looks so blur with so much noise but when upload to the pc, it's so clear. I went to the shop and ask and the man in the shop told me that it's memang like that 1. Some cameras look blur on disply but clear on pc and print out. Some cameras look clear on display but blur on pc and print out. It's the manufacturer who design it this way. The guy in the shop also told me that we cannot depend on the camera's display to judge the quality of the camera and picture. Some DSLRs are also like that.

Nowdays cameras are so good quality. Normally it's 10 megapixels. Last time 6 megapixels also so wah already. At least nowdays cameras display is much bigger. I took the old camera just to play play with it, the display so small, so hard to see. The best thing about nowdays digital camera is that it has improve so much. Anytime someone wants to camwhore, the picture sure come out nice. If it's last time days camera, as in 7 years ago, when I camwhore, omg, all the pics are so ugly. It makes my face look so ugly. At least nowdays cameras don't make me look ugly anymore.

These pictures from the digital camera still cannot beat DSLR quality because if use DSLR, the object will be clear and the background will be blur. In these pictures, the backgrounds are not that blur its quite good already.

Swimsuits!!!

I always wanted new swimsuit because my current tankini looks so teenager and the bottom is like high cut at the waist like grandma panties. I want the one where the top is half n the bottom can be boylegs or panty kind. I don't like those tankini where the top is full and the bottom is like panty. It just looks incomplete, like forgot to wear pants like that. If the top is full and the bottom is shorts, too covered for the beach, like so conservative. So i would prefer the bottom is like panty kind.

I don't mind bikini but then i don't want those tie string kind because i feel no matter what the string will untie and then you know what happens next. I think it's the swimsuit material which is slippery that makes the bikini untie by itself. I know I so fussy with swimsuit.

I have another requirement for my swimsuit which everyone will also consider, the PRICE. Most swimsuits so expensive. Like in Roxy, bikini cost like RM200. The most ironic part is that we are paying so much for such a small amount of cloth. I also don't know why shops must sell the top and bottom seperately. Buy seperately much more expensive than buy 1 set together.

Since swimsuits in Malaysia so expensive, I think I want to buy from ebay. But then if buy from ebay, shipping so expensive, USD 18 and the swimsuit starting price is USD 1. Haih. So hard to find swimsuit. Buy from ebay also risky because scared cannot fit. I also don't know why stripper's uniform or clothes or what it's called is under swimwear in ebay.

In conclusion, my tankini is still wearable and still in very good condition because it's from triumph and triumph no more swimsuit range. So I shouldn't waste money to buy something i don't need and will only wear IF I go to the beach. :(

1st sem 3rd year!!!

I know it's been 9 months since I'd updated my blog. I just dont really update because I find it a little troublesome especially with finding the layout. But oh well, let me just update once in a while.

Well, this sem I joined the swim club. From the AGM, it looks interesting. The MMU swimming pool looks so nice for competition with dividers n diving platforms at every lane. I go swimming like twice a week but I will definitely go swimming once a week. It's fun to swim. I so can't wait for next week to swim again. Since I learn how to swim last sem (I learn how to swim in my Co-Curriculum class), I never do any of my workout anymore. So 2 of my yoga mats, dumbells n exercise balls are not in use. I bought an exercise ball a few months ago and i can't balance because it's so big so I never used it.

Ok, about my studies, it's as usual la. Boring. Now I'm staying in HB3 with Dori and Nabila. Nabila stays at home n hostel is just a place for her to rest. I'm usually alone in the room at night because Dori goes out. Hostel is going to add new furniture for the 3rd person soon so it means I have to move my mattress back up to the upper bunk. It's so hot at the upper bunk. Well, I'll just wait for the furniture to come in a few weeks time and see what I can do about it.
