Bon Odori (16.07.2011) and Floria 2011 (17.07.2011)

Me and my sister went to Bon Odori. It was held in Panasonic Stadium, Shah Alam. We went there to take some photos but there weren't that many photos to take. My dad dropped us there since it's like impossible to find parking. People actually parked in the round about. 

The gates were opened at 5pm but I went at around 4.30pm. There was like no crowd at 4.30. You can walk easily and freely at that time. But after 5pm, O_O it was soooooooo packed. We didn't stay long because the performance was so boring, to me. It was like the same dance but the Japanese obviously enjoyed it alot and some people danced along. Here's the link to the pictures.

The next day, my dad suggested that we go to the Floria Festival in Putrajaya. We went at noon because that is the time where the sun is brightest and hottest!!!!! It was really nice to take photos there because there are just soooooo many flowers!! It would have been nicer if I have a macro lens!!!!! There are stalls that sells flowers, outdoor garden and indoor air-conditioned hall. It was obviously to be indoors since it's so damn hot. Here's the link for the Floria Festival photos. 

The best part after this was I had fever on the night of the Floria Festival because it was so damn hot!!!!! I already had cough the day before Bon Odori due to sick building syndrome. The office is air-conditioned, so it's cold and it also don't have good ventilation. My colleagues were sick so obviously I get sick as well. I had to skip one day of work. The bestest part is I am not entitled for any leaves, not even MC!!!!! 

Now I know why offices offer medical leaves for their staff, not only because they are unfit to work, but also  they contribute to sick building syndrome.

Close- ups and short Trip to I-City, Shah Alam

This afternoon I was bored so I took pictures of my loofah and lip balm close-up.

Tonight, me, my sis and my dad went to I-City to take pictures. It's a place with alot of artificial trees with alot of lights. They had many LED sculptures and deco at the buildings. It's like a park and there's alot of security guards blowing whistle. It gets annoying sometimes. They do that so that people do not sit on the slope and stuff. They just don't want to be responsible for any electrocution. The entrance fees is only RM5 per car. The crowd there was surprisingly good for a weekday. We left at around 9.30pm and there were so many cars queuing up to get in.

Me and my sis are not very good with night shots so most of the pictures taken not so nice la. We never really practice taking pictures at night. We also don't have remote control for the camera so we use timer to take photo so that the camera does not shake when we snap a picture. I don't want to upload pics here because my house internet so slow and it takes forever to view them. You can look it up in my webshots.

Cameras

On Wednesday, my dad took the DSLR for some company thing but ended up never use also. But at least on Friday he went to send it for service. I don't know what happen to the lens. The body is ok. The lens jam. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes it jam. What happens is the focus cannot turn fully or the zoom cannot turn fully. But it's now is service and take back the camera in 1 week time.

I used the digital camera to take pictures just now. It's not bad this digital camera which my mum bought. It's pink!! And it's touch screen!!! At 1st i thought it was bad because the picture taken that's shown on the disply looks so blur with so much noise but when upload to the pc, it's so clear. I went to the shop and ask and the man in the shop told me that it's memang like that 1. Some cameras look blur on disply but clear on pc and print out. Some cameras look clear on display but blur on pc and print out. It's the manufacturer who design it this way. The guy in the shop also told me that we cannot depend on the camera's display to judge the quality of the camera and picture. Some DSLRs are also like that.

and the DSLR is Nikon D3000.

Nowdays cameras are so good quality. Normally it's 10 megapixels. Last time 6 megapixels also so wah already. At least nowdays cameras display is much bigger. I took the old camera just to play play with it, the display so small, so hard to see. The best thing about nowdays digital camera is that it has improve so much. Anytime someone wants to camwhore, the picture sure come out nice. If it's last time days camera, as in 7 years ago, when I camwhore, omg, all the pics are so ugly. It makes my face look so ugly. At least nowdays cameras don't make me look ugly anymore.

These pictures from the digital camera still cannot beat DSLR quality because if use DSLR, the object will be clear and the background will be blur. In these pictures, the backgrounds are not that blur its quite good already.
